CB Diggs joins Seahawks, cites former teammates
Former Cowboys Pro Bowl cornerback Trevon Diggs plans to sign a one-year deal with the Seahawks, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Wednesday.
The NFL offseason is heating up, and the Seattle Seahawks just landed a big fish. Cornerback Trevon Diggs, a Pro Bowl selection in 2022, is joining the Seahawks on a one-year deal. This move is significant for the Seahawks, who are looking to bolster their secondary and make a push for the playoffs.
Diggs' decision to leave the Cowboys is interesting, especially given his comments about former teammates. It's clear that Diggs is motivated by a desire to play with certain players, and the Seahawks must have presented an attractive opportunity for him to do so. This move also speaks to the ever-changing landscape of the NFL, where players are constantly evaluating their situations and making moves to optimize their careers.
As the Seahawks look to build on their roster, fans will be watching to see how Diggs fits in with the team's defensive scheme. The Seahawks have been busy this offseason, making several key signings and trades. To watch next: how Diggs performs in his first season with the Seahawks, and whether he can help the team make a deep playoff run. Will this move pay off for Diggs and the Seahawks, or will it be a one-year fling? Only time will tell.
